About this opportunity
As the Producer on our To Be Announced original IP you are responsible for owning and delivering the production road map, and ensuring consistent delivery of production goals per sprint and milestone, wrapping up to the full release & post launch support of our next title.
You will also help evaluate & identify potential hires for key resources on the team in collaboration with senior management & HR direction. The producer develops leadership, and empowers the team, by sharing ownership and autonomy by providing clear production guidelines and supporting pipeline creations and communication channels. The producer also uses their production experience to help with scoping and risk management on projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a key Stakeholder at every stage of a game’s development cycle, you are responsible for:
- Partnering with the Creative direction and driving the delivery the game vision
- Structuring a remote team to deliver planned features & content
- Supporting the creation of production pipelines and processes
- Creating & managing the production roadmap
- Being the champion of production planning and best practices
- Owning production reporting including risk assessment, identification, and mitigation
- Driving the production, review, and approval processes to deliver to the Roadmap
- Owning Jira practices & processes
- Keeping game development fun and dynamic!
Other responsibilities include:
- Identifying creative / production opportunities in conjunction with Directors
- Developing the production team by supporting personnel management & growth in conjunction with the HR Director.
- Contribute to the identification and growth of key resources
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong communication and leadership skills combined with a start-up mentality
- Experience managing cross discipline teams & shipping games!
- Strong knowledge of JIRA database workflows, sprint boards, dashboards
- In-depth knowledge of production pipelines and cross discipline dependencies in production environments
- A passion to drive a team and improve oneself to optimise the opportunities provided and grow a dedicated and motivated team!
- Experience communicating across all levels in an organisation
- Experience in aligning processes and focus for delivering quality
