Technical Artist
As part of the Nacon group, creā-ture Studios Inc. focuses on PC and console original IP. We are seeking a skilled Technical Artist to support our Technical Art Director in enhancing production workflows and bridging communication between art, design, and engineering teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Technical Art Director to optimise workflows, tools, pipelines, and asset integration across disciplines.
- Identify and implement solutions to align the artistic vision with technical constraints.
- Develop and document efficient pipelines, workflows, and tools to support the team.
- Research and prototype advanced tools, shaders, and rendering techniques.
- Advise on best practices in tools and workflows across the cross-disciplinary team.
- Assist Art, Design, and Programming teams by testing features, troubleshooting, and developing workflows to support technical needs.
- Stay updated on emerging tools in Unreal and other third-party software to improve production efficiency.
- Optimise cross-platform performance using profiling tools to identify bottlenecks, while collaborating with teams to balance performance and visual quality.
qualifications
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine and visual scripting (Blueprint).
- Experience as a Technical Artist in the game industry.
- Strong cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance optimization and platform constraints.
- Proficient in industry-standard 3D and 2D software (e.g., 3ds Max, Blender, Substance Designer, Photoshop).
- Solid foundation in real-time 3D graphics and digital content pipelines.
- Strong understanding of design principles, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
